Adrienn Fuscsics is a composer and musician interested in writing music for films.
Adrienn is about to graduate from the Creative Music Technology course at the Swansea College of Art, University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
Music has always been a passion and interest for Adreinn. The Creative Music Technology degree provided a unique opportunity to develop a strong knowledge and understanding of working in studio-based environments. Adrienn’s main ambition after graduating from the course is to pursue a career in writing music for film.
In this vein, Adrienn’s Final portfolio (i.e. Major Project) consisted of writing musical underscores, sound effects, sound design and foley for horror films. The portfolio of work can be found under Adrienn’s Soundcloud profile linked above.
More information on Adrienn’s portfolio can be found by following the social media links, above.
I started the course on part-time basis and did my first year’s credits over the space of two years. At the outset, it was a steep learning curve but with hard word and a lot of time in the studio I have successfully developed my practice.
I decided to carry on my course on a full-time basis to reduce the amount of the time spent in university. I enjoyed learning to record, mix and master music and have developed a passion for composing music and analysing other composers’ works to develop my own techniques. The final year of the course was definitely the most exciting period as I composed my own four-part harmony sound idents (with professional brass musicians), composed horror music and sound effects and made a music video for ‘The Voices Choir’.
