I’m Jay Bonser, a scriptwriter & director. When I started this course in 2017, I had no idea what route I wanted to take in life, but I knew I wanted to explore my passion for films and filmmaking. 

Three years and many mistakes later, I can safely say that writing and the creative process to crafting a story is the pathway that I’ll be walking. 

Whilst my work has often been inspired by a wide variety of themes, the concept of ‘Sins of the past’ both in fiction and a factual, historical context has been a strong source of inspiration to me in my approach to previous projects, and will be a theme that I continue to explore in my own writing in the future. 
One of the key themes in my graduate project was the ‘The death of digital freedom’, a topic that I hope to explore and develop in my works to come.
