My work documents accounts of women who have experienced some form of abuse from men, or a male dominated society.  Reflecting on how women are often degraded and ignored in a global culture of patriarchy.  Drawing reference from the online video ‘Be a Lady, They Said’ my work aims to impact the viewer with a combination of video and audio clips that offer no frills or excuses, to give a thought-provoking  presentation that, inspired by the Guerilla Girls, presents a straight forward, no thrills approach to the subject, with no attempt to hide, or shy away from the subject matter.
